It was a pleasure to be part of Abbey and Jake's wedding day as a second shooter, capturing the special moments and little details that made their celebration so memorable.
Before the ceremony, we stumbled across a beautiful hidden alley with the stunning backdrop of Lichfield Cathedral. It was the perfect location for some relaxed portraits, giving Abbey and Jake a chance to enjoy a quiet moment together before the excitement of the day unfolded. The historic setting added so much character and created some of my favourite images from the day.
The weather certainly kept us guessing, but we managed to avoid the rain and make the most of every opportunity to get outside. The dramatic skies only added to the atmosphere, creating a gorgeous backdrop throughout the day.
Jake's car was another highlight and made for some fantastic photographs. Taking the time to capture the details that are personal to a couple always helps tell the story of their wedding day, and it was brilliant to incorporate such a special part of the celebrations into their gallery.
As the day went on, there were so many genuine moments to capture, from the laughter shared with family and friends to the quiet glances between the newlyweds. Being a second shooter is all about documenting those natural interactions that help tell the full story of a wedding day.
A huge congratulations to Abbey and Jake on your marriage. Thank you for allowing us to capture such a special chapter of your lives. Wishing you both a lifetime filled with love, happiness, and unforgettable adventures together.
